GOD’S KINGDOM IS AMONG YOU

Luke 17:20-21 (NRSV) - Once Jesus was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God was coming, and he answered, "The kingdom of God is not coming with things that can be observed; 21 nor will they say, 'Look, here it is!' or 'There it is!' For, in fact, the kingdom of God is among you."

The Pharisees demanded    
that Jesus tell them when
God’s kingdom would be coming.
He cautioned them again:
Do not spend time predicting
when God’s kingdom will come.
As to the time and season,
it’s better to be dumb.
Don’t look for signs, said Jesus,
to tell you when and where.
The kingdom is among you,
and you should seek it there.
